Landing, move to bike rental (Stoneheadbikes), rent 2 Himalayans (booked in advance).
Re-pack and leave Delhi asap - direction Chandigarh for the first overnight + some shopping on the way.
Arrival in the evening - hotel found on the spot.

Chandigarh - Patnitop
The plan was to get to Patnitop, starting to travel in the mountains but in reality we landed in Mandi - one of Himalayans failing to charge the battery... RE service helped but we only did 200 km this day.

We know we would not make it so the plan is to go as far as posssible. A biker met on the way advised antoher road and finally we land in Udampur and join a pack of other bikers who help us find hotel.

The plan is to service the bikes in Srinagar and service them there but:
extremely heavy traffic and tough road + a punture slow us down. It feels dodgy in Srinagar (afternoon) and is too late to service the bikes so we decide to continue to Sonamarg and arrive there @ 10pm
